Euchre to support junior sailing was a huge, huge success which concluded March 6th, 2026. The second series winners were: 1st place Elaine Thieman, 2nd Julius Jacobs, 3rd Kevin Gormley, 4th Duane Alt, and 5th Julie Shipman.

The final night we had 12 tables and a full bar. The big winners for the night with a three way tie score of 49 and splitting the jackpot was Barb Shaffer, Jeremy Kaune, and Julie Shipman.

The winner of the beautiful hand-made quilt produced and donated by Deb Behrens was Rene Anderson. All the proceeds went directly to support our junior sailing program.

Special thanks to my co-chair Deb Behrens who took over the euchre while Marcie and I were enjoying time in sunny Florida.

My brother Tim for lending a huge hand and a big thanks to Becky Aumiller for working the 50/50 raffle. Also, to the kitchen crew who put together the great meals, and those who worked the bar to keep the spirits flowing.

Good times were had by all with all the proceeds from the euchre going directly to our junior sailing program. Again, thanks to all who came out to support our junior sailors.

This was the biggest year ever financially in the history of J.R.S.C. euchre!!!
