Dear JRSC Members,

Just a friendly reminder that our JRSC Elections will be held on Tuesday, September 8th during our General Membership Meeting.

Elections are an important part of keeping our club moving forward, and we encourage all members to attend, cast their votes, and have a voice in the leadership of JRSC for the coming year.

This year, we will be electing members to fill the Vice Commodore and two Trustee positions. If you are interested in running for either position or would simply like to learn more about what serving in one of these roles involves, please reach out to Commodore Trey or myself. We would be happy to answer any questions and talk through the responsibilities with you.

If you would like to be considered for Vice Commodore or Trustee, please prepare a short letter introducing yourself and sharing a little about why you are interested in serving the club. Your letter will be read at the meeting by the Elections Committee and will also be published in the Skulldugger so that our membership has an opportunity to get to know the candidates. This letter will need to be submitted to Trey or myself no later than Monday August 24th.

Serving in a leadership position is a great way to become more involved, bring your ideas to the table, and play a part in shaping the future of JRSC. We hope members who have considered getting more involved will take this opportunity to step forward.
