You are Invited! There is always something new going on at JRSC of Toledo, Ohio. If you are interested in sailing and having a good time doing it or would like sailing lessons, our members would love to meet you or have you in one of our sailing classes.

The sailors at JRSC love to share their experience through sailing classes and help new members get started. As yacht clubs go, The Jolly Roger Sailing Club of Toledo, Ohio, is a very down to earth club which also offers sailing lessons. We have a large collection of members who enjoy learning from each other and helping others to learn about sailing through sailing lessons and sailing classes.

Sailing Lessons

Sailing Events

Many of our members sail as a group every Thursday night, for good spirited racing fun. Even if you do not have a boat in Toledo, Ohio, there are plenty of opportunities to crew. We split the races up into several classes of boats. One class includes inter-lakes or slightly smaller boats. The fun fleet is a class for 22 foot boats, and finally there is the JAM class, consisting of bigger boats.

JRSC also sponsors regattas whenever we get the chance. A regatta offers the opportunity for our members to schedule a sailing event and invite people from different clubs from Toledo, Ohio, and other locations. We did a junior regatta this year and the kids had a great time.

Juniors

Juniors at JRSC. If you are looking for a great new activity for the kids JRSC might be a good place to start. Sailing lessons are a great way for young people to have fun in the sun and to build a self confidence that will last them a lifetime. The club has a collection of boats that our juniors sail on in the river and on the Maumee bay.

Jolly Roger is a great experience for teens and kids. Between the various regattas or the once weekly junior practice during the summer and various sailing lessons, sailing is a great way to keep the kids busy and having tons of fun. The club provides the boats for the Junior members to use anytime they want so you don't need to pay for a boat for your kids.

Cruising

If you are interested in cruising there are several official and unofficial events every year. The club offers a ten day cruise each year where the boats sail to ports like Put-in-Pay, Pelee island and Kelly's island. Cruising is a great way to experience the region by visiting some of the best ports in western Lake Erie.

Parties

There are various regattas throughout the year at the Jolly Roger Sailing Club, including those of other affiliated boating clubs in the Toledo, Ohio area. If you're looking for a great way to meet people and have a blast, and maybe take some sailing lessons or sailing classes, the Jolly Roger Sailing Club is the place for you.

Membership

The club offers an active membership for sailors with boats in Toledo, Ohio, sailing classes, and a social membership for those who just want to be a part of the fun! One of the great things about the club is that you can love it no matter how much you're involved.

Dockage / Bulkhead

The fact that we do have a large membership here in Toledo, Ohio, helps us keep our club membership fees and dock fees low. There are lots of boats available in our area for very low prices and combined with JRSC's exceptional dock fees and our sailing classes, it is definitely a great deal for how much fun you'll have.

Boats For Sale

On occasion, club members will offer boats for sale. They might be purchasing a new boat themselves and simply want to help others get involved in sailing by offering the boat they've previously owned. Click here to see a listing of the boats that are currently for sale.
